Despatch Advice / Delivery Note

A notification from the despatch party to the consignee that goods have been despatched, detailing the contents of the consignment. The same data set serves as the delivery note accompanying the goods. Signed by the consignee on receipt, it can also serve as proof of delivery — see Delivery Confirmation.

Beyond KTDDE. This document is not among the 36 key trade documents of the ICC-DSI KTDDE , and is therefore not part of the KTDDE compliance assessment. Its data elements are instead derived from the UN/EDIFACT DESADV  (Despatch Advice) message, D.13A.
